Appearance: Seoul has reddish-brown, wavy/curly hair that stops right around her hips. She has a curl similar to Korea's on the left side of her head, which represents the Han River. Her eyes have a caramel/burnt caramel color and are usually always cheerful. Most of the time she'll be in modern clothing, but when she's in the traditional parts of her city she'll be in her hanbok. If she is training she will be in her military outfit.
Personality: Seoul is a lively person((city, thing, etc. WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO SAY?
)) like her brother South Korea. She is very bubbly and will smile most of the time. When she is in a distasteful mood, she's usually tired and frustrated about something at the same time, but that doesn't happen too often. She is also very optimistic.
History: Seoul was born around 18-17 B.C., during the Baekje Era. It was chosen to be Baekje's capital even though it is located in Silla (These are two of the three kingdoms). After Baekje, Seoul was then owned by many other rulers and was given different names each time (Seoul is actually the most modern name of this capital). The Three Kingdoms were in constant fights, wanting to have control over Seoul. In 1392, Joseon Era, is when Seoul really began to develop and this was also Seoul's last Korean ruler. These were her last happy days. By 1910, Japan had taken control of Korea. Seoul was practically dead, losing almost all of her culture and was soon to be no more. The palaces were destroyed and her hope as well. But with the help of America and the Allies in general, they had rescued Korea and Seoul. In 1945, her brothers had split and South Korea took Seoul in his care. Both Korea's gained independence by August 15, 1948. As soon as Seoul thought she could catch her breath, her other brother North Korea had invaded and taken her away from South Korea. She was terrified. South Korea pleaded with the UN to help him. Many nations came to the aid (Ex: America, Norway, Britain, etc). Peace was once again brought back by 1953 and like her past, Seoul continued to be the capital. Seoul had now become quiet and timid, not opening up to anyone. America had come to South Korea to help him recover and develop. During this time he had help Seoul open up trades and such as well. Soon after some time with America, Seoul rapidly began to modernize into the Seoul you see today. Seoul is known as a leading global city and is one of the top travel destinations. Seoul is also know for their technology, fashion industries, and pop culture.
